Help & Support
1
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes! I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and determine whether we feel like a good fit for working together.
2
What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where you feel heard and supported.

What if I don't have insurance?
If you do not have insurance or choose not to use your insurance benefits, private-pay services are available. I accept payment through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) when permitted by your plan.
Upon request, I can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt) for private-pay services. Depending on your insurance plan or Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you may be eligible to submit the superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider or EAP to verify your benefits.

What are your credentials?
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Colorado and hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. As a licensed mental health professional, I have completed graduate-level education, supervised clinical training, and state licensing requirements to provide psychotherapy.
7
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
8
Do you provide therapy in-person, online, or hybrid?
Yes! I offer in-person, telehealth, and hybrid therapy to clients throughout Colorado. My office is located within Mindful Therapy Group in Westminster, Colorado. When you arrive, you'll be welcomed by the front desk and directed to my office.
Whether you prefer the connection of meeting face-to-face, the convenience of secure virtual sessions from home, or a combination of both, we can determine the format that best fits your lifestyle and therapeutic goals.
9
What is your therapeutic lens?
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approach, recognizing that healing occurs within a trusting therapeutic relationship. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, attachment-based interventions, mindfulness, and nervous system-informed techniques, tailoring treatment to your unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to increase self-understanding, build practical skills, strengthen resilience, and help you move toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with your values.

What makes a good therapist-client fit?
A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important predictors of successful therapy. During our consultation and first few sessions, we'll determine whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs. If not, I'm happy to help connect you with another provider who may be a better match.
